About
Hello there! I’m the academic who accidentally wandered from banking cubicles to university hallways and decided to stay. As an Assistant Professor at Alliance University, I spend my days making operations research sound so exciting that students occasionally forget to check their phones.
My research publications have impressive titles like “Transformational educational leaders inspire school educators’ commitment” and “Global Regionalization of Consumer Neuroscience Behavioral Qualities” – which is basically my scholarly way of saying “I figure out why people’s brains do weird things when they shop.”
After a brief stint at ICICI Bank (where I learned that banking customers and university students share a remarkable similarity: neither group reads the fine print), I decided that lecturing was my true calling. At least in academia, when people fall asleep during my presentations, I can factor it into their grade.
I’ve got an MBA in Marketing and Analytics (8.46 GPA – yes, I’m still bragging about it) and an IT background that means I’m the person everyone calls when the projector won’t connect to their laptop.
My research interests span consumer neuroscience, organizational behavior, and the metaverse – or as I explain to my relatives, “I study why people buy things, why they hate their jobs, and why they wear those silly virtual reality headsets.”
When not publishing in journals with impressively long names, I can be found playing volleyball or explaining to students that “I’ll figure it out later” is not a viable operations management strategy.
